In the shadows they plotted, with smiles so sweet,
Crafting lies and snares, my downfall to meet.
I knew the game, yet still, I played,
Believing their words, in trust, I strayed.

The pain, it struck like a knife so deep,
In silent nights, I could only weep.
They saw not the tears, nor the prayers in the dark,
They missed the cries from a wounded heart.

But there’s One who knows the truth untold,
Who saw the pain, and my spirit consoled.
To Him, I gave my sorrow and strife,
Forgiving them all, to reclaim my life.

Yet the scars remain, memories hard to erase,
For they continue their lies, masking truth with disgrace.
But in His hands, justice I leave,
With a heart now free, no more to grieve.

For in the end, what matters most,
Is the peace within, the forgiven ghost.
Their tales may spread, but the truth stands tall,
And in that truth, I find my all.
